Having joined the Hughes PR team in 2006, Mark has been a senior consultant for some of our biggest clients, including Hansen Yuncken, US military vehicle manufacturer Force Protection Inc, energy giant IPR – GDF Suez and Adelaide Airport Ltd.
Before joining Hughes PR, Mark was an Adviser to former Australian Minister for Defence, Senator the Hon. Robert Hill. This role included policy management of Defence’s property infrastructure including the disposal of surplus Defence land and base redevelopments, and assisting the Minister’s media adviser.
From 2002 to 2004, Mark was Media and Policy Adviser to the former Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Health, the Hon. Trish Worth MP, with responsibilities covering drugs and alcohol, food standards and the Government’s radiation/nuclear safety agency.
His career also has included roles reporting with the former Adelaide News newspaper; Media Relations Manager with TransAdelaide Corporation; and Media Adviser in the office of the Premier of South Australia with particular emphasis on the areas of transport, urban planning, treasury, and industry and trade.
