McDonald’s Australia has announced the appointment of two new managers in South Australia.
Shannon Parkin has been appointed as South Australian Franchise Manager, while Tristan Harding becomes a South Australian Field Service Consultant.
Both roles are internal appointments of McDonald’s employees who have progressed through the ranks, highlighting the company’s commitment to career development.
As South Australian Franchise Manager, Ms Parkin will provide leadership and direction to McDonald’s Field Service Consultants and act as a relationship manager and advocate for McDonald’s franchisees.
She joined the company in 1990 and progressed to Restaurant Manager before being promoted to a McDonald's Field Service Consultant. In her 20 years with McDonald’s, Ms Parkin has demonstrated an ability to lead the market and drive business results, while her strong desire to work with team members has helped develop talent for further growth.
Mr Harding’s role will focus on optimising business sales, people development and assisting new store openings. His experience in leveraging talent, communication and achieving organisational growth will ensure that he works effectively with restaurant owners and operators to improve all areas of the business.
He started his career with McDonald’s as a crew member before moving into a Restaurant Manager role. For the past three years he has been working with the McDonald’s Operated Company division where he has continued to grow his operational knowledge as a supervisor and manager.
