Not for profit employment services and training company Jobs Statewide Incorporated has acquired the business and brand of Rexco People boosting the organisation’s reach and resources in South Australia and Queensland.
The acquisition will see Rexco People run alongside Job Statewide’s existing employment service and training providers - Jobs Statewide. Excel Recruitment and Excel Training. The Rexco People brand will be retained and operate through a new company as a division of Jobs Statewide Incorporated.
Jobs Statewide Incorporated Chief Executive Officer, Ms Wendy-Jayne Williams said the acquisition of Rexco People is a significant milestone in our history and will provide some unique opportunities for our clients, staff and the communities in which we operate.”
“Rexco People will take Jobs Statewide Incorporated into new industries such as Mining. Engineering and Energy and immediately expand our presence in the South Australian and Queensland markets.”
Rexco People has existing offices in Adelaide and Whyalla in South Australia and an office in Brisbane, Queensland.
“We’ll also be looking to expand the Rexco People network nationally by taking the company into New South Wales and Victoria, where Jobs Statewide already has a presence through Excel Recruitment and Training, said Ms Williams.
“Existing Rexco People clients will be offered additional value and services through Excel Training, which is a Registered Training Organisation.
“The synergies between all Jobs Statewide Incorporated companies will heighten the value and opportunities available to all clients, employees and suppliers.
“Rexco People has been operating successfully for over 30-years but with additional resources and investment, it has the potential to grow in existing and new markets.
The acquisition will see the Adelaide and Brisbane offices of Rexco People co-locate into the offices of Jobs Statewide and Excel Recruitment. The Whyalla office will remain unaffected.
Jobs Statewide has guaranteed the jobs and entitlements of all existing Rexco People employees. Rexco People currently employs 18 staff.

Jobs Statewide is a Jobs Services Australia provider and has offices in Woodville and Adelaide, South Australia. Excel Recruitment and Training has offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
With its Head Office in South Australia, Jobs Statewide Incorporated currently employs more than 55 staff in four states.
