A new bar and cafe is set to open at The Dunes Port Hughes just in time for the busy holiday season.
“The Deck Bar & Cafe” will be officially launched over the Labour Day long weekend in October and provide locals and visitors to Port Hughes with a new venue to dine and socialise.
It will initially be open for lunch daily and every Friday and Saturday evening for dinner, as well as breakfast on Sunday. Opening times will then vary depending on the season.
The Dunes Port Hughes Chief Executive Officer Andrew Martin is thrilled to open The Deck Bar & Café which he says will add to the atmosphere within the development.
“The Deck Bar & Café will add a lively new element to The Dunes and comes just in time for the busy holiday season,” he said.
“We’ll be serving great quality Aussie fare to diners for lunch and dinner, while the rear deck overlooking the gulf will be the place to be on Sunday mornings for our big breakfasts.”
The Deck Bar & Café will overlook the picturesque Port Hughes sand dunes near South Beach and be located directly adjacent the new Copperclub Golf Shop.
“Copperclub golfers will also benefit from The Deck Bar & Café which gives them a great venue to enjoy a cold beer and a bite to eat after their round,” said Mr Martin, adding that the course now has almost 200 members and has already welcomed more than 1,000 golfers since opening in June.
“The Deck Bar & Café represents a fantastic milestone for The Dunes and is the latest piece in the puzzle for our world-class resort and residential development.”
