Tim established Hughes Public Relations (now Hughes) in Adelaide in 1992 to work alongside clients and provide them with the power to influence action and opinion through strategic communications planning and delivery.
More than 30 years on, Tim guides the continuous development of the consultancy as Chair of its Advisory Board – bringing to bear longstanding experience accumulated while acting for some of Australia’s best-known organisations and brands.
Tim has advised clients nationally and internationally on a range of communication issues; driven strong, award-winning, brand-building programs; and established a sound reputation for issues and crisis management counsel.
Organisations Tim has acted for include Adelaide Airport Limited, Australian Submarine Corporation, BankSA, BHP Billiton, Coles, ENGIE, Flinders Port Holdings, HIA, HomeStart, Makris Corporation, OTR, San Remo, SkyCity, Statewide Super, Westpac, Yalumba and numerous Local, State and Federal government departments and agencies.
Tim is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and has served on the SA board of the PRIA.
