Tim Hughes

Tim established Hughes Public Relations in Adelaide more than 25 years ago to work alongside clients and provide them with the power to influence action and opinion to grow their companies and organisations. As the consultancy’s principal, Tim guides a team of talented and experienced professionals with expertise across a range of public relations disciplines.

The Hughes team creates value for clients, enhancing the effectiveness of their communication efforts while building their reputation capital. This approach has served clients across all industries and levels of Government.

Over the past two decades Tim has advised clients nationally and internationally on a range of communication issues, driven strong, award-winning, brand-building programs and established a sound reputation for issues and crisis management counsel.

A graduate of Flinders University, Tim began his career in current affairs journalism with the ABC and later worked for The Advertiser.  Tim is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and has served on the SA board of the PRIA. He is a regular lecturer on PR for the University of South Australia’s MBA course and sits on the Communications and Media Advisory Panel which guides curriculum development for the School of Communication, International Studies and Languages.
