THE Project
Kangaroo Island was severely impacted by bushfires in 2019-2020, and the recovery of the region relies on the continued protection of the pristine environment from biosecurity threats.
In this video project for PIRSA, the Hughes video production team proposed to focus on why biosecurity is so important to Kangaroo Island; as narrated by its local producers, growers and tourism operators. In this way, we hope to engage not only tourists to the island, but also to remind residents returning to the island of their biosecurity obligations.
