National Pharmacies celebrates supplier excellence at 26th annual awards

Australia’s largest friendly society pharmacy and optical business has recognised outstanding achievement across its supplier network of more than 500 businesses at its 26th Annual Supplier Awards, held last night in Adelaide.
The 2025 National Pharmacies Supplier Awards awards celebrates innovation, collaboration and service excellence delivered by suppliers who support its 46 community pharmacies and 20 optical stores in Australia.
The Award categories across Health, Distribution, Optical and Beauty reflect the diversity and depth of partnerships that underpin the group’s operations in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
This year’s top suppliers were: Viatris, Johnson & Johnson/Kenvue, Zeiss and Groupe Clarins.
National Pharmacies Chief Executive Officer Mark Smith congratulated the award winners and acknowledged the contribution of 27 suppliers represented as finalists at the award ceremony.
“Our suppliers play a vital role in the ongoing success of National Pharmacies – their reliability, innovation and excellence – are highly valued in an industry that’s rapidly evolving,” Mr Smith said.
“Now in its 26th year, the National Pharmacies Supplier Awards continues to spotlight business partners that go above and beyond—strengthening industry ties and setting new benchmarks for excellence in pharmacy, optical and retail supply,” he said.
“These awards are also a celebration of strong partnerships and shared purpose to support better health outcomes and member and customer experiences every day.”
Finalists are selected by a panel of nine judges from across National Pharmacies on criteria which include communication, service, product range and support.
