First Forestville apartments released shortly

The first apartments at the $250 million Forestville project will go on sale shortly after the success of the project’s terrace homes which are already under construction after being 65 per cent sold.
Simply titled Forestville Apartments, it’s the first of two residential apartment buildings to be built in the project, and will feature 93 spacious dwellings including one, two and three-bedroom apartments and four luxury penthouses.
Designed by leading Adelaide architects Studio Gram, Forestville Apartments will be located right in the heart of the project alongside The Agora – a vibrant retail and dining precinct with a Chapley-owned Adelaide’s Finest Supermarket, restaurants and specialty stores. It will also provide residents with direct access to Leader Street and Maple Avenue.
Detailed plans for the Forestville Apartments are expected to be released by Buildtec next month with prices starting in the low $600,000s. Construction of the apartments is expected to begin in mid-late 2026.
The release of the apartments is timed alongside consultation on a reconfiguration of the project’s masterplan.
Key elements of the project remain unchanged, with plans reconfigured to bring together the retail, dining, Urban Green School and Rooftop Urban Farm and short-stay accommodation into a more accessible and cohesive precinct.
The reconfigured plans will also make the Urban Farm more prominent and visible, create Northern and Southern pedestrianised squares, and move all commercial parking underground to improve the streetscape and reduce noise.
Importantly, the high-level of community open space is retained, while creating a better-connected community for residents.
The updated plans will be released for community consultation from September 18 until October 8 and will be accessible via the Plan SA website.

It’s exciting to see the project progress and evolve with construction of the townhouses, release of the first apartments and enhancements to the masterplan – all significant developments for the Forestville project.
There’s already strong demand for apartment living at Forestville and we are confident that the reconfigured plans will deliver a much-improved project for our residents by bringing them together into the heart of the masterplan.
They will also help better activate public space by bringing the community together into a vibrant central hub.
As a family, it’s important for us to ensure we deliver on our vision and create a unique project unlike any other in South Australia, and where opportunities exist to enhance the project, we will continue to do so.
The lifestyle at Forestville for future residents and the community will be unrivalled with the project incorporating a bustling market square and retail precinct, eateries, Urban Green School and rooftop Urban Farm and diverse residential living.
Integrated seamlessly into the wider Forestville suburb, it will be a community where people can live, play, work, learn, and connect.
