Ironfish Adelaide expand into property sales and marketing with new division
Adelaide’s largest property investment specialists Ironfish has successfully launched a new Project Sales and Marketing Division to offer greater choice to developers and to increase competition in the local market.
Ironfish Project Sales and Marketing offers a turn-key service for developers including market research, marketing and sales strategy and implementation and the management of integrated communications campaigns incorporating project branding, advertising, PR and digital.
Ironfish Project Sales and Marketing is led by Managing Director Damon Nagel and Chief Operating Officer Matthew Rosie.
The new Division’s first project was the Asian Pacific Group’s The Watson Apartments and Hotel at Walkerville, which they took to the market in March selling195 of the 210 apartments in less than two months.
The value of the apartments sold to date is $73.8 million.
Ironfish Managing Director Damon Nagel said the company anticipates an increasing demand for these services as more medium to high density development activity occurs in Adelaide following the state government’s planning reforms.
“We’re likely to see more interstate and international developers looking closely at projects in the Adelaide market and seeking specialist local sales and marketing services, said Mr Nagel.
“Adelaide is a unique market and it requires local insight and knowledge.
“Ironfish has been operating successfully in Adelaide for nearly seven years and has built of team of eighteen industry experts across market research, investment strategy, property finance and property management.
“The new Project Sales and Marketing Division is a natural extension of the services already provided by Ironfish in Adelaide.
“Our Adelaide office is also backed by a strong national team with expertise in all facets of property, particularly research.”
One of Ironfish’s key strengths has been its research team’s ability to identify projects that meet current and future market demand and are therefore attractive to buyers and investors.
“The company adopts a rigorous approach to identify suitable projects for investors and this rigour will also be applied to its new division,” said Mr Nagel.
“We will only work on projects that meet our strict criteria and have been through an intense due diligence process,” said Mr Nagel.
“Unfortunately, many local projects just don’t stack up because they’re offering the wrong product or are unrealistically priced.
“We will be giving these projects a wide berth.”
Ironfish established an Adelaide office in 2006. Since then, under the guidance of Managing Director Damon Nagel, the company has offered investment strategy and advice to more than 1000 clients.
Ironfish educates and assists investors to continue to invest and strategically build a balanced portfolio of different types of property in different locations – and to hold onto that portfolio over the long term.
Nationally, Ironfish’s clients have purchased more than a 1,000 properties over the last year with Adelaide clients representing 20 per cent of the purchases.
