McLaren Vale land estate capitalises on new transport links
Tatachilla Estate, a new land development in the heart of McLaren Vale is expected to benefit from significant government transport infrastructure currently under way, including the Southern Expressway duplication and Seaford Rail extension.
Tatachilla Estate, adjacent the McLaren Vale Bowling Club, will consist of 38 allotments nestled between Main Rd and Tatachilla Rd in the centre of the township.
Allotment sizes range from 300 square metres to 560 square metres, with the first handful of allotments now released for purchase.
Mike Stillwell from selling agent, First National, said all development approvals had now been granted, and civil earthworks on the quality landmark estate had commenced.
“The timing of this land release fits perfectly with the significant transport infrastructure works under way around McLaren Vale,” Mr Stillwell said.
“In addition to works on the Southern Expressway and Seaford rail extension, the Government has commenced works on an overpass to be built over the Victor Harbor Rd at the McLaren Vale intersection, and improvements to the Victor Harbor Rd/Main South Rd intersection have been completed.
“There are very few land opportunities in the township, and I think smart home buyers will recognise the benefits of getting in quick before these new transport links are completed.
“Location wise, Tatachilla Estate is close to the McLaren Vale Central Shopping Mall, a short walk from the local primary school, and right alongside the bowling club and some of McLaren Vale’s best cafes.
“There are also regular ‘Adelaide Metro’ buses to the Noarlunga Centre rail interchange connecting to the city. The development would suit a wide profile of potential buyers.”
Brad Robinson from Rossdale Homes, which has prepared house and land packages for the project, expressed his enthusiasm for the unique offering.
“Opportunities to prepare house designs in such a quality location are a rarity. We’ve focussed on owner occupier dwellings or quality investor packages, which have the greatest likelihood for capital growth with the upgrade of the region,” Mr Robinson said.
Rossdale Homes has prepared house and land packages under $350,000, which have drawn significant interest from the local market.
