First apartments launched at $160 million Fletcher's Slip develoopment
The first apartments at the $160 million Fletcher’s Slip development will be launched for sale on February 14.
Sirocco is a three-storey waterfront apartment building incorporating 41 one and two-bedroom apartments with features including ground floor apartments with private terraces and upper-level apartments with generous balconies to take advantage of the water views.
Located in the Sugar Wharf precinct, Sirocco provides residents with direct access to the riverfront promenade and nearby Port River ramp where residents can launch their kayaks and hand-powered watercraft.
Designed by leading architects DKO, apartments at Sirocco feature open plan living and dining, and high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout. Residents will also benefit from secure off-street parking, as well as lift access to each apartment level.
The success of the development’s townhomes, which are now under construction, has initiated the launch of Sirocco, further highlighting the desirability of waterfront living.
Mr Mark Pivovaroff, Cedar Woods (South Australia) Development Director said the launch of the first apartments was an exciting milestone for Fletcher’s Slip which is sailing ahead with strong demand from homebuyers.
“Waterfront apartment living at Sirocco will offer an enviable lifestyle for future residents, who will also benefit from its proximity to the beach as well as the Port River, said Mr Pivovaroff.
“Sirocco has been thoughtfully designed to embrace its waterside location. It’s also nestled alongside landscaped promenades and parks which will be equipped with recreational and BBQ facilities, creating a perfect community environment.
“We’ve had strong demand for the apartments since the project was officially launched because of the rare opportunity that Fletcher’s Slip provides to live near the water without the price tag that’s normally associated to waterside living.
“We’re expecting that the apartments will appeal to a diverse a range of buyers including young professional single buyers, couples, first home owners and downsizers.”
Apartments at Sirocco will start from $320,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and $370,000 for a two-bedroom apartment. Two-bedroom apartments are being offered with a choice of one or two bathrooms.
Fletcher’s Slip is already proving popular with homebuyers because of its unique location, low-maintenance and convenient lifestyle, with nearby shopping precincts and transport links into the city.
More than 170 two and three-bedroom town homes have now sold at Fletcher’s Slip with all townhomes released to date nearly sold. The first residents are expected to move into their homes at Fletcher’s Slip around the middle of the year.
The Fletcher’s Slip development masterplan will see the area transformed and revitalised into a vibrant residential community with new townhomes and apartments, parks and gardens across the twelve-hectare site.
The plan also includes an uninterrupted public promenade to open-up the waterfront for the entire community; restoration and reuse of existing heritage-listed buildings and the existing boat slip at the north-western corner of the wharf to provide access to the water for kayaks and hand-powered watercraft.
