Australian-owned and built Offline Campers launches new Ryder Lite model

High-end South Australian-made camper trailer business Offline Campers has launched a new model – the Ryder Lite - aimed at the trailbike market and people looking for adventurous off road experiences.
Founded by former defence industry mechanical engineer, Sam Reynolds, Offline Campers has been focussing on building the highest quality campers, using Australian components such as steel and electronic fittings, aimed to withstand the harshest conditions of remote and off-grid locations.
Each camper trailer has been designed to suit people of all abilities and ages, with simple assembly an important design feature to ensure equipment is easy to access.
Mr Reynolds designed the Ryder Lite as an updated model based on the original Ryder, with spaces for trailbikes between the car and the trailer not found in any other camper trailers on the market – ensuring they’re not damaged by rocks and other road debris at the rear.
He said while the original Ryder came with features including a full stainless-steel kitchen, integrated hot water system, more than 2000 litres of general storage and an additional 400L of storage for bike gear, the Ryder Lite had a deckload of 1000kg a 95L fridge/freezer and a larger payload.
The Ryder Lite features a REDARC GoBlock battery system, which allows for extra power support off-grid, with a quick release plate to easily move the system between the car and camper.
“The Ryder Lite has been stripped to the bare essentials, to allow people to take offroad motorbike trips to another level, whether it is dirt track far from the bitumen or no track at all,” Mr Reynolds said.
“It features a running platform with one tonne capacity, room for up to four bikes, and dedicated suspension and chassis for proper offroad driving, so you can beat new paths, further out and away from the crowds.
“The Ryder Lite keeps dimensions sharp and narrow, and we’ve designed the trailer with heavy offroad use in mind.” Offline Campers has also released the Ryder XLT, which allows for side-by-sides or quads, thanks to the stretch deck and increased payload.
“The further you can get your tow rig, the larger the range on your bikes. The Ryder Lite and Ryder XLT are the only camper trailers of their kind on the market, which are Australian made, with kit sturdy enough to get you further out and across tricky terrain, including Cruisemaster AT suspension with twin shocks, DO35 hitch for more articulation and tight dimensions to help you navigate any track.”
Each model - from its chassis to its cabinetry - is manufactured at the Lionsgate Business Park in Elizabeth, formerly the home of General Motors Holden, with camper trailers built on their own, specialised production line.
Offline Campers is one of the very few in Australia to design and manufacture locally, using the maximum amount of local components possible to build the Swiss Army Knife of the camper trailer community.
