International student wins a year’s free accommodation with Yugo and Student.com

An international student studying in Perth, Western Australia, has won a full year of free accommodation at Yugo Perth City. The prize was awarded through a global campaign delivered by Yugo, the global student housing brand and operator, and the leading student housing marketplace, Student.com.

The prize formed part of Unlock Your Student XP, a digital campaign designed for undergraduate students during the 2025 Formula One™ season as part of Yugo and Student.com’s partnerships with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls (VCARB) Formula One™ team. The campaign engages Gen Z audiences through a gaming-style challenge, where participants completed tasks to earn XP points and entered a series of prize draws.

The prize provides a full year of accommodation in one of Yugo Perth City’s apartments. The winner, Dava Attamimi, is an international student from Indonesia studying Marketing and Communications at TAFE.

“I was really shocked, I wasn’t even sure it was real at first! This will help me so much, because now I can put the money I’d saved for accommodation towards my tuition and living expenses. It will make a big difference in my day-to-day life,” Dava said. “I’m living in a six-bed shared apartment, and it’s been really fun. I get to talk to people instead of being on my own, and that’s made such a positive impact. I’ve loved living with Yugo, the events, the watch parties, all the activities — they make you feel part of something and definitely less alone.”
