Adelaide Airport welcomes new Jetstar Bali service
Adelaide Airport Limited (AAL) has welcomed today’s announcement by Jetstar that it will fly three non-stop services a week between Adelaide and Bali, starting December 17, 2013.
AAL Managing Director, Mark Young, said the new service would now provide travellers with a choice of airline between Adelaide and Denpasar.
“With the airline growth over recent years, South Australians are now enjoying a wide range of choice for destinations and pricing options,” Mr Young said.
“Bali continues to be a popular tourist destination, and today’s announcement by Jetstar is a great result for South Australian holiday makers.
“The direct flight offers a considerable time saving compared with flying to Bali via Darwin or Perth.
“Adelaide Airport has been Australia’s fastest growing capital city airport for international services for the past couple of years, and these new flights will help to continue that trend.”
Flights will operate every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with Jetstar utilising Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
Jetstar last month announced it would introduce three non-stop flights a week between Adelaide and Auckland, also starting in December.
